Karls Erlebnisdorf: Mobaro gives us timely and adequate maintenance of our attractions

Karls-Erlebnisdorf-Mobaro

Building on a strong family tradition of farming through 100 years, the German chain of strawberry-themed attractions is experiencing tremendous success with their unique offering and now they are safeguarding their enterprise with Mobaro.

The combination of colorful berry farming atmosphere, a range of enjoyable rides, and accommodation in cozy upcycling styled accommodation seems to be the winning recipe for Karls.

However, having opened 5 parks around Germany also calls for enhanced overview and management of e.g., mechanical ride safety, maintenance, and park operations.

– We wanted a tool that helps us to improve the maintenance of our rides and attractions. And with Mobaro, we have more efficient tasking and tracking of tasks, we get the real time overview of the operational status and not least timely and adequate maintenance of our attractions, says Jörg Vogt, Group Manager Parks & Events

Valueable across departments
While the initial application for Mobaro at Karls Erlebnisdorf was focused on ride maintenance, the ambition has also been to make the most of the system for the wider attraction and group.

– We have Mobaro in full use for the maintenance departments across all five parks and are currently implementing it in other departments. We look forward to using it across our departments, Jörg Vogts adds.

Indeed, Karls Erlebnisdorf is a great example of combining the core ride maintenance power of Mobaro with its potent broader scope of application that includes park-wide maintenance and operations, such as F&B, as well as strategical corporate overview.

The advantage of using the system in as many areas as possible is the centralized overview available from the versatile reporting engine in the platform.

For a group like Karls, this is even more useful since Mobaro gives instant insight across large geographical distances – it provides the data they need to gain the full, in-depth overview of their branches.
