Odense Zoo and Knuthenborg Safari Park have jumped in on the wave of achieving more effective ways of working and increasing their focus on safety for guests and employees. As of late 2017, they have signed up to Mobaro’s turnkey Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) solution.

“We are pleased to welcome these two Danish attractions, and to take yet another leap into the Zoo segment,” comments Jens Holm-Møller, Co-Founder and Director at Mobaro Park, and continues, “There are many parallels in values and how you work across the various segments of the attractions industry, so it makes perfect sense for us to make Mobaro flexible to fit the needs of these segments, whether it is Amusement Parks, FECs, Zoos, Aquariums, Water Parks or Resorts.

Mobaro Park believes there are much to gain for Zoos and Aquariums on their solution, that dispenses with cumbersome paper schedules and checklists, replacing them with an online portal for management and a hands-on mobile app for staff. By going digital, operators can instantly monitor the status of any animal exhibit or attraction in real-time and manage safety, maintenance and operational programmes to ensure state of the art overall quality. “Zoos and Aquariums will gain great impact on optimizing how they work, and what would be wonderful to see is an even further increase in their animal welfare by operating more proactively and structured,” Jens adds.

Other recent adopters of the Mobaro Park solution include UK’s West Midland Safari Park & Leisure Park, Folly Farm and Chester Zoo. According to Mobaro, they chose the company’s solution for its uncluttered functionality and flexibility. Unlike many one-size-fits-all solutions, Mobaro Park has been developed by Danish software experts in corporation with various international attractions to specifically fit the needs of theme parks and attractions.
